VOLUNTEER & VISIT

Angela House benefits from outstanding support from the Houston community. With an abundance of goodness, community groups and individuals volunteer to help us maintain our facility, run our office and provide activities for our residents. We also allow visits from resident family members as well as tours of Angela House for individuals who would like to see more of what we do in action.

Volunteering

  • Facility maintenance: plumbing, painting, changing ceiling light bulbs

  • Coordinate: community events for our women to attend

  • Lead: healthy cooking classes, craft classes

  • Bring a meal and plan an activity: cards, games, crafts

VISIT A RESIDENT

Family members are welcome to visit Angela House residents during a designated two-hour period on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. All visitors must be pre-approved by the Case Manager.

Visitors are asked not to bring perishable or non-perishable food, or any other items, into Angela House without prior approval from the Treatment Team.

Tour Angela House

Angela House tours take place during our regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 4 PM. Please apply to schedule a tour and our staff will do our best to accommodate the date and time of your choice. There are occasions when an alternate date and time will need to be scheduled and our staff will contact you. Once your tour is scheduled you will receive confirmation from Angela House with that information as well as instructions for parking. Thank you for your interest!
